Shout Outs - Lending A Hand
Apologies for a quiet blog this week -work has been knackering and then got distressing. I am fine but it’s needed a bit of self-care this week. I suspect either by tonight or tomorrow you will find me back up to usual service.
But like all of us I am aware that things in the world are getting scary fast and our usual way of doing things is up in the air For the book community a series of events and launches are being hampered and that can really hit getting you lovely people to hear about a book that you should be giving your attention.
So, I am going to allow authors and creators to tempt you for a change rather than just me. If your latest story or project is being impacted by events, I am happy to give you a shout out on the blog and give people some details. While the chaos is going on, I am opening this up to any author in any genre but bear in mind my blog (and main audience) is SF&F, horror and crime focused.
Based on the number of messages I will decide the frequency but let’s start weekly. The best way to
get me is via the blog contact link in the menu.
So this week two interesting items
The author Tiffani Angus got in touch and their novel is supposed to be launched at Eastercon . The novel is Threading the Labyrinth from Unsung Stories. Tiffani describes it as ‘a historical fantasy about 400 years in a haunted garden, a sort of Children of Green Knowe or Tom’s Midnight Garden for adults’. Which already has my attention Green Knowe was a kids show that I recall unnerved me. I am already scheduled for reviewing this in April but have a peek at the links for more info.
