TBR Challenge and Update - let’s get short

Hellooo!

Well no sooner than I wrote one at bar challenge we finally escaped February and I was expecting us still to be in that annoying month so I consider this progress!

Things are busy as always but reading time has been protected!

Here is my TBR score so far

20 books read so far

14 - ARCS

6 - TBR

This doesn’t surprise me as I’m playing a big of an arc catch up the first half of the year.

Now onto this month’s TBR challenge

February – Short and Sweet

For this challenge it is about reading time, learning that you can read just a few pages a day and that is OK

Read 28 short stories  - they can be in magazine, anthology or collection form. You don’t even have to finish the books! Just 28 tales to read

Stretch Goal

You started so you finish – you have to finish the magazine, anthologies or collections you chose!

I am increasingly reading short fiction and enjoying it as a different type of reading experience. Ina. Short month this challenge is to encourage you to release those collections, anthologies and magazines lying within the TBR. Meet many new authors, enjoy experiencing a whole take on a few pages and having fun

For me I’ve picked five books to use to get this challenge

The Winter Spiriits - Ghostly Tales for Frosty Nights (feels apt)

The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter (a new author for me!)

Horror Stories by E Nesbit (again new)

The Complete Short Stories of Mike Carey - (I love their work)

All the Fabulous Beasts by Priya Sharma - (another I love reading tales by)
