BLOG TOUR - TEASER TRAILER - The Stars Now Unclaimed by Drew Williams

Helllloooo!!!

While the reviewing is going I know I’ve been a little quiet again on the Week in Womble thanks to a successive mix of family events; illness and last week the worst deadline ever for work. Which has sadly stayed with me all week but dear reader I have a treat for you on Thursday

Later on Thursday I will be reviewing the extremely good space opera The Star Now Unclaimed which is now available in all good bookshops. Asa tease lets just imagine a mix of Star Wars and Foundation with a lot of intriguing characters trying to save the universe. It has really cheered me up on the long and often late commute home.

Now usually I just like to booktempt you into submission but thanks to the nice people at Simon & Schuster I will be giving away one copy of the book. “Oh Great Womble how can I enter?” I hear you cry - well that’s easy just sell your soul to me……handed papers from publisher’s lawyers ahhhhhhh ahem apparently that is illegal these days.

OK lets make it easy - I will be posting a tweet in my usual guise of @runalongwomble on Twitter around 7.30am on Thursday the 11th announcing this giveaway- like that tweet and I shall choose one of you at random to win a copy (UK entransts only sorry). You have until 7.30am the next day to take part

To entice you further here is the book blurb: -

A century ago, a mysterious pulse of energy spread across the universe. Meant to usher n a new era of peace and prosperity, it instead destroyed technology indiscriminately, leaving some worlds untouched and throwing others into total chaos

The Justified, a mysterious group of super-soldiers, have spent a hundred years trying t find a way to restore order to the universe. Their greatest asset is the feared mercenary Kamali, who travels from planet to planet searching for gifted young people and bringing them to the secret world she calls home. Kamali hopes that those she rescues will be able to find a way to reverse the damage the pulse wreaked, and ensure that it never returns.

But Kamali isn’t the only person looking for answers to unimaginable questions. And when her mission to rescue a grumpy teenage girl named Esa goes off the rails, Kamali suddenly finds herself smack in the centre of an intergalactic war…that she started.

I knowww and its been as good a read as it sounds. I shall be back on Thursday with the review but look out for that tweet and you can take part. As you can see below there are a lot of my fine blogger colleagues taking part in this tour and you can follow more via the hastag #TheStarsNowUnclaimed
