TBR Updates - April and May Challengs
Hellooo!
So we are one third through the year! Life is as expected hectic at work and I’m conscious bouncing between things. It certainly looks like I need to eat better looking at my latest diabetic score which is always a good enough reason to take a bit more care. Despite the hassle it’s been a good challenging month. Once one project ends on Tuesday, I’ve got to get on the next urgent one to deliver by July but May does have a week off in it! I’ve slacked off giving myself time to slack off so let us see how this month goes?
Tidy the TBR for Month
Total Books Now Read – 92 (73)
ARCS – 51 (39)
TBR – 41 (34)
A bit better I am slowing down on book tours and focus next is on SCKA so that should improve TBR balances…in theory
May Challenges
So always enjoying a pun the challenge here is you can pick one random book out of Mount TBR – no other rule than that. Four months in you deserve some freedom and do you remember how good it is to just pick a book out of the pile. The challenge though is to read it this month. Not switch genres, moods or quietly put it back. Let this one free!
Using my ancient rule of third one from the left this means I’ll be looking to read The Dispossessed by Ursula K Le Guin which is new for me (yes…I know…)
The stretch goal was for a book with a suitable green subject be it name, setting or theme. For this I’m picking Brightfall by Jamie Lee Moyer which takes place in Sherwood Forest!
What about you?
