The Week in Womble aka The Batteries are Included Again
Helloooooo!
Three-day weekends are all the fun aren’t they? Even better when mine is five days long. I was very wiped out but have seen friends, gone the zoo and even just read in the garden. A proper recharge has done wonders. I’ve finished all my Subjective Chaos nominee rounds and that means I can start doing other book projects again and open myself up for reading requests (I would recommend the Contact form if you’ve anything to discuss). I’ve missed regular blogging this summer so time to get back into it
Things I listened to
Had my head down with work so nothing to report on
What I’ve Been Watching
Elementary Season 2 was completed! Very solid second season and now I’ve no memory of what happened next which is always more fun.
What Have I been reading?
In terms of Subjective Chaos I went through the remaining Debits and Novellas. You can get a summary of my reactions via clicking here!
A Master of Djinn by P Djeli Clark — a very impressive novel in a world I’ve been to a few times already in short story and novella form. The leap to novel works like a charm.
The Museum For Forgetting by Pete W Sutton – a wonderfully weird set of speculative fiction from the origins of ghosts to rescues in space. Well worth investigating
What am I Going to Read?
In the near future a Child, A Monsters, Holmes, Parables, Shards, Men, Burning, A Legacy, Aliens and an Empire.
And so much more!! Good luck for the future – we will get there. See you in a week!
